The Hunt
The Anglesey Drag Hounds are a small pack located on the Isle of Anglesey, North
Wales who enjoy spectacular hunting country and a wide range of terrain from the
dramatic headlands of the coast to open stone wall country and woodland, within
the restraints of the island's 20 mile radius. The hunt welcomes visitors and each week offers a variety of both fantastic country and excellent jumping opportunities. We also however have a policy of providing an alternative route for those who wish to enjoy the day without jumping.
It is important to contact one of the joint Masters prior to each Saturday's meet.
The hunt was formed in 1973. The country had not been hunted by a mounted pack since the Anglesey Harriers closed kennels at the end of the 1939-40 season.
