The Hunt
The Cheshire Farmers Drag Hunt was formed 15 years ago and now hunts from Warrington down to Endon and from Tarporley to the peak district including the flat plains of Cheshire.

Everyday we hunt we cater for all levels of rider, from the beginner to the experienced and children alike. We hunt one day a week with the occasional bye day.

Within The Cheshire Farmers all the masters make a point with dealing directly with our farmers and agree before any hunt which route they would prefer.

We then use a runner to lay down the scent on the agreed route, and Des Evans (The Runner), then uses his experience to run where the fox would go and therefore gives the field a good days hunting.

We hunt from September through till march with a good mounted field and many who simply coming out on foot to enjoy watching our hounds work on the scent.

Meets: Saturday, 12.30pm

Subscription/Cap:

Full membership: £50

Guest Fee: £50 - 75 depending on the day

Point to Point Qualifying Days: £200 (Maximum of four meets)

There is a wire fund payable on the day of: Adults £25,  Under 18's £10
