The Kyre Draghounds

The Hunt
Dates back to 1994 when hunted by “The Kyre Bloodhounds”. Hounds changed from Bloodhounds hunting the clean boot to Foxhounds hunting a dragline in 2001.

Meets are for the most part fairly well spread through the country. The country is variable, mainly grass with some decent hedge days and a lot of timber. Most days have a mixture of obstacles with consideration to riders of all abilities. A days hunting consists of a number hunts, ranging from 4 to 6 depending on the lay of the land and each hunt covering a distance from a mile or so up to approximately five miles.

Meets: Sunday 12 noon (occasional weekdays)

Uniform: Scarlet coat, light fawn collar. Mounted field: formal hunting attire. Hunt collars and buttons.

Hounds: 14 couple of Welsh broken coated foxhounds

Meet: Most Sundays with occasional weekday (Noon)

Subscription: Apply Master/whip/sec

Former Masters: Mr. Chris Nenadich, Miss F. Tirley, Miss A. Downes
