The Hunt
Welcome to the Mid Surrey Farmers' Draghounds. We are one of the oldest drag hunts in the United Kingdom.

We cover a country from Hickstead in the west to Meopham in the East and Warlingham in the North to the South Downs, with particularly challenging jumping country around the Dallington valleys.

We meet on Saturdays throughout the season, which runs from October to March, with frequent mid week days throughout the first half of the season.

We welcome new members to come out and experience the thrill of crossing our varied and challenging country. We vary our days and there are days especially designed to encourage new members and young horses and point to pointers. our po

New members are encouraged to speak to the Masters to pin point the most suitable meets to start enjoying our sport.

We are a very sociable hunt who welcome and encourage new members, we try to keep numbers low as safety is of prime importance to us and we want people to enjoy coming out.

Our days generally start with social meet either at a pub or with a lawn meet we move off between 1pm and 1.30pm depending on the time of year and generally we are finished by 4pm then its wash off the horses and into tea to relax and discuss the day's sport – plenty of joshing, jokes and of course Ginni Beard's photos to show us where we went wrong!e.
